The white vineyard covers about 1.3 ha and has two orientations: one with west – east exposure and another with north – south exposure.

It is developed in a predominantly clay soil with obvious rock outcrops. The varieties planted are Verdicchio 85% and Maceratino 15%. From this plot, Fattoria Nannì could obtain in full production years about 2000 bottles of organic Ribona and about 8000 bottles of organic Verdicchio dei castelli di Jesi classico superiore.

First year of production 2019.

The Sulla vineyard is named after the spontaneous soil richness of this forage plant (Hedysarum coronarium) belonging to the Fabaceae family, where the new planting was recently cultivated. The vineyard comes from the mass selection made in the fall of 2018, again obtained from the shoots of the Giovanni Piersigilli vineyard, again on the Kober 5 bb rootstock.

The vineyard covers 0.85 ha at about 400 m.a.s.l. and is visibly rich in sandstone skeleton.

It will probably arrive in full production in September-October 2022.

In the middle of the vineyard in the direction of the historic center of Apiro are positioned about 50 Dadant Blatt beehives that produce excellent organic Millefiori honey, although the main activity of this apiary, due mainly to the terroir that surrounds it mostly untouched by industrialization, is the substantial one of recreating new families of Bees destined for nomadic beekeeping.

Management of bees and honey production is not part of the farm’s activities and is scrupulously monitored by the Cooperativa Apicoltori Montani di Matelica.

The Giovanni Piersigilli plot is the oldest of Fattoria Nannì’s vineyard stock: it turned 54 years of productive activity in 2019. The soil has a sandy loam clay ratio with a high calcium carbonate content and about 15 percent active limestone, finally the soil is rich in sandstone skeleton.

It covers 2.5 ha of agricultural land in front of the winemaking cellar, is oriented from north to southwest with a slight 15% slope, at an altitude of about 420 m.a.s.l. The land is kept completely grassed since the plants now dominate the land where they are raised, the average production is very low standing at around 60 q.li per ha, however the remaining plants still have a fair amount of vegetative-productive activity as there are about 40 percent failures.

The Mancini vineyard covers 3.3 ha of vineyard area, at an altitude of about 450 m.a.s.l. It is certified for the production of verdicchio dei castelli di Jesi classico although in addition to various clones of verdicchio there is 0.3 ha a distinct triangle in the lower part of the vineyard area of trebbiano and malvasia.

The Mancini vineyard is in its second year of conversion to organic farming and has a north-south orientation and is 48 years old. Every year we sow field beans in alternating rows so that green manure can be green manure in flowering of the same, in the spring period. The vineyard has a slope ranging from 10 to 25 percent.

Failures affect about 30 percent of the vineyard, and average production is around 65 q.li per ha.

The Sant’Urbano vineyard covers about 0.85 ha and has an east-west orientation It has predominantly sandy soil and is the least rich in skeleton. The varieties planted are Verdicchio 85% and Maceratino 15%.

From this plot Fattoria Nanni could obtain in full production years about 1200 bottles of organic Ribona and about 6900 bottles of organic verdicchio dei castelli di Jesi classico superiore.
